Comfort Inn and Suites Ames near ISU Campus

Breakfast was varied full and very good. All facilities looked brand new! and nicely cleaned. Everything was was very good at this motel. For me the bed was a little too firm but pillows were comfy and bedsheets done well. In bathroom the faucets were very pretty and worked well. The shower head was terrific!!!! No complaints.

The location of the hotel was great. Allowing dogs was the main reason I stayed at this hotel as I was up in Ames to attend the ISU pet hospital. The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. The price was reasonable for the time frame of my stay. The complimentary breakfast was always tasty with plenty of choices. Biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, toast, waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, and all sorts of other great food. A great amenity.

Location was perfect for us!! We were there for a procedure for our dog at ISU. We were given a room on the first floor, perfect for taking our dog out!! The surrounding property is so pretty with the golf course and made for nice walks. We definitely plan to make this our choice hotel for future visits to ISU! The staff was kind and courteous!!

The hotel is modern, very clean, and well maintained. Room service and related amenities are offered daily. Breakfast is good and warm. Although the hotel does not have an in-house restaurant, they have a spacious dining area that may be used if one orders food online. The rooms are spacious and furnishing is modern.

We were able to check in late and enjoyed a very nice welcome from the night clerk who by the way had to help another client right before us who was sent to our hotel by a different hotel because they had no rooms. Unfortunately neither did ours. But Lisa made a phone call and was able to send the client to another hotel with a room for her. I’m sure that person was very appreciative of her as well. The night clerk, I believe her name was Lisa, was very pleasant and even gave us water and snacks as she quickly checked u last in so we could get to our room. We enjoyed the comfy beds after a long day of dirt track race watching and the shower felt awesome. Saturday, game day, we were up early and ready to go back to Boone where Supernational races were being held. We grabbed a few items from the lovely breakfast on the way out the door. Turns out we had to leave the parking lot going the opposite direction as the football fans who had already formed a very long line to Jack Trice Stadium. Turns out our friendly night clerk Lisa was there to help. She went out of her way to hold up traffic for us to get out of the parking lot. She was awesome and we very much appreciated her. Thank you for a lovely stay, Comfort Inn and Suites in Ames. We will stay there again.
